There’s still time to volunteer and share the word about an event in March that will support oral health for children in Massachusetts.

Tufts University Dental School will host Give Kids a Smile Day on Saturday, March 23 between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Give Kids Smile Day provides a fun day for kids and families. In addition to free chair-side dental screenings for the children ages 0 to 13 years, Tufts Dental will be offering, according to dental.tufts.edu:

• oral health education to children, parents and caregivers.Caregivers are reminded to protect their child’s beautiful smile by starting dental checkups early.

Among supporters of the event will be the Benco Family Foundation.
