A Continuing Education course offers CE credits and a chance to do just that.

A course on September 29 will include a hands-on portion where attendees will be able to cut extracted teeth and porcine mandibles using an all-tissue laser.

The morning:

From enhanced patient experience to improved clinical outcomes, lasers in dentistry are quickly becoming the new standard of care for a myriad of dental procedures. In 2015, Dr. Michael Kelly integrated a 9.3 µm CO2 all-tissue laser into his practice because he wanted to be more efficient, give his patients an unparalleled dental experience and differentiate his practice. The 9.3 µm CO2 all-tissue laser achieves this through its profound analgesic effect for hard tissue procedures and virtually bloodless soft tissue procedures. During this course, Dr. Kelly will discuss this laser’s underlying technology, how he successfully integrated it into his practice and the dramatic effect it’s had on his practice. He will then walk through dozens of clinical cases.

The afternoon:

There will be a hands-on portion where attendees will be able to cut extracted teeth and porcine mandibles using this all-tissue laser. There will be no CE credits issued in the afternoon.

About the presenter

Dr. Michael Kelly

Dr. Michael Kelly attended Stetson University in Florida for his undergraduate training in Chemistry and then graduated from Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1993.

His commitment to dental excellence is shown by his attainment of Mastership in the International College of Oral Implantologists, over 1,900 hours of advanced study, his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, and his work toward Accreditation in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
