VFW Post 423 Ann Arbor each year makes sure hundreds of veteran stories aren’t forgotten when it hosts a four-day Military Memorabilia Display at the VFW hall off of Wagner Road in Ann Arbor, according to  Janet Miller’ s story in The Ann Arbor News.

“Hundreds of military artifacts – from a military backpack from the Spanish American War to World War I helmets to toothpaste issued to paratroopers dropped over Normandy – are displayed at the makeshift museum for four days.”

In its 16th year, the museum will welcome visitors through May 27.
