On Wednesday, Dec. 19, Benco Dental associate Linda Tregea received a sweet surprise from the United Way of Wyoming Valley.

As part of the a monthly outreach to thank those who support the nonprofit organization’s work to reduce childhood poverty, the United Way team selects a Donor of the Month locally to receive a treat. Supporters at every level of giving are chosen at random for this honor.

“We appreciate our donors and we want them to feel special. Partnering with Michael Mootz Candies allows us to show how much we appreciate them,” said Ginny Crake, VP of Resource Development at United Way of Wyoming Valley.

This month, Crake and Matthew Ceruti, Director of Workforce Relations, visited Benco Dental’s home office in Pittston, Pennsylvania to surprise to Linda Tregea, Assistant Treasurer Benco Dental with the Donor of the Month award.

“I support the United Way to help the ones who can’t help themselves,” said Tregea, who celebrated her 10th anniversary as a Benco Dental associate on December 15. “This was a pleasant surprise. Doesn’t everybody like candy?” she added.
