Dr. Larry Coffee

Dr. Larry Coffee started the Dental Lifeline Network in 1974 in response to his sister’s health needs. More recently he has been instrumental in bringing together nearly 80 mostly medical organizations to advocate for Medicare coverage for adults with a medical necessity.

Dr. Coffee will be honored with the Champion for Change Award on February 20 in Chicago at the Oral Health America’s Champions for Change Gala. There, OHA will laud him for bringing together 15,000 dentists to provide sponsored care for over 100,000 adults who are aging, challenged by a developmental disability or needing oral care to qualify for a lifesaving medical procedure.

At the Champions for Change Gala, Ivoclar Vivadent will be recognized as a Million Dollar Donor. According to OralHealthAmerica.org, Ivoclar Vivadent helped to launch Oral Health America’s (OHA) Wisdom Tooth Project® (WTP) in 2010. The Wisdom Tooth Project strives to change the lives of senior consumers aging in their communities and especially vulnerable to oral disease
