Dentists make a difference in the lives of patients every day and Benco Dental is proud to support those efforts. Through the Benco Family Foundation, Benco also supports Dental Lifeline Network (DLN), a 100% dentist-driven volunteer organization serving people with disabilities, the elderly or medically fragile across the nation. Will You See One Vet, aimed at changing the lives of veterans with special needs, is DLN’s newest volunteer initiative.

How can you help a Veteran?

DLN in collaboration with the American Dental Association is asking its members to donate comprehensive treatment to at least one veteran with special needs each year through the Will You See One Vet program.

Benco Managing Director Chuck Cohen and Rick Cohen, and Benco Family Foundation Executive Director Rebecca Binder shared a Will You See One Vet success story:

Richard, a veteran of the U.S. Navy who served two tours in Vietnam, suffered severe post-traumatic stress disorder. He had difficulty keeping a job and was left homeless for a period of time. His oral health, as well as his general wellbeing, fell to the wayside until he entered a rehabilitation program that helped him get his life back on track. He receives health care through Veterans Affairs, but could not afford the dental care he needed. A DLN volunteer dentist stepped in to donate his time and services to restore Richard’s oral health. Richard now has a greatly deserved healthy smile.

Create your own success story.

Help honor those who have made countless sacrifices to the nation. Volunteer for Will You See One Vet.

Participating is easy and patients will come to your dental office:

  • Visit WillYouSeeOneVet.org and fill out the short form.
  • DLN will then match you with a pre-screened veteran.
  • DLN will also coordinate lab and specialist referrals with Seattle Study Club volunteers.

Thank a Veteran today.

It’s a great morning when you can honor Veterans with free breakfast.

Today in Northeast Pennsylvania, a few miles from the Benco Dental home office, the nation’s largest privately owned dental distributor did just that.

Partnering with radio station Rock 107, the Iron Skillet and other local supporters, Benco  offered a thank to U.S. Veterans with free breakfast and complimentary dental kit.

Bright and early on location at Petro Iron Skillet in Duryea, Pennsylvania, Catie Kline Noble, Sarah Lucas and this Molar Muse, representing Benco Dental, greeted Veterans and their guests with sincere gratitude, free breakfast and dental kits.

At this location, Iron Skillet will offer a free meal to all Veterans until midnight.
