A substitute teacher, a researcher, a dentist — three among the 11 whose lives were lost this weekend in Pittsburgh during an attack at Tree of Life synagogue.

Through their professions and in their roles as friends, neighbors, relatives and members of the New Light Congregation, all 11 shared kindness in positive ways.
