The Center for Oral Health joined forces with the L.A. Trust to create one in California, during which hundreds of community members annually participate and enjoy free dental screenings, insurance enrollment navigation, oral health education and special guest tooth fairies.

With impressive leadership at its helm, including Board Chairperson Jack Dillenberg, DDS, MPH, and Executive Director Conrado E. Barzaga, MD, the Center for Oral Health has been dedicated to improving oral health, especially in vulnerable populations, through innovation, research, education and advocacy.

In its first 25 years, the COH was located in the San Francisco Bay Area and in 2012 relocated its headquarters to South California.

In San Francisco this fall, the Lucy Hobbs Project will dedicate give back efforts during its 6th annual celebration of women in dentistry to support the Center for Oral Health and its mission.

Find out more about the COH efforts, such as Early Smiles Sacramento and Early Smiles San Bernardino (shown below), which reach out to families where they live, work and play to assist the youngest and most vulnerable children in the city.
