Meet Ben, LaShonda and Dan, and follow them through their path as students at the oldest dental school in the U.S.

That’s what ADA News invites you to do with their ongoing series Becoming A Dentist, launched earlier this month.

Ben Horn, LaShonda Shepherd and Dan Yang have earned acceptance at University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, which opened in 1840 and is the oldest dental school in the United States.

The ADA News series will feature their stories, from first year to graduation.

According to ADANews.com, you’ll hear from these members of the University’s class of 2021:

• Ben, the former naval aviator turned dental student.

• LaShonda, the public health advocate who dreams of improving access to dental care in her hometown.

• Dan, the passionate health care enthusiast who just wants to help people.
