Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry has graduated more than 6,000 oral health professionals since 1932. Those alumnae, along with current dental and dental hygiene students and dental professionals in the surrounding area are invited to a Lucy Hobbs Project YOU event.

Detroit Mercy Dental, together with the Lucy Hobbs Project, will present the night of networking and panel discussions covering special topics for women in dentistry. Keynote speaker Mary Sue Stonisch, DDS earned her dental degree from Detroit Mercy in 1987 speaks from experience as a dental entrepreneur. Today Dr. Stonisch runs Faircourt Dental in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, a general and preventative dental practice with expertise in aesthetics and implant dentistry.

Dr. Stonisch teaches dentists as a mentor at the Kois Center in Seattle, and is an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a Diplomat with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
