As early as middle school, Dr. Kyle Bogan set his sights on dentistry. When he opened his Delaware, Ohio practice in 2013, he aimed to change the patient experience.

“Gone are the days, I feel, when the patients don’t have a voice in their dental care and gone are the days – at least in my practice – where patients feel like a number.  I take the time to educate my patients on their oral health and we, as a practice, get to know our patients and their families.  We want them to feel like a part of our extended office family.”

This May, the first North Orange Family Dentistry Scholarship will add another dimension to Dr. Bogan’s efforts to connect, support and educate.

According to Dr. Bogan, the $1,000 scholarship will be awarded once per year to a graduating senior from a Delaware County high school with a GPA of at least 3.0 or higher. Preference will be given to applicants enrolling full-time in an accredited university or college in pursuit of education in (1) dentistry, (2) science, (3) health, (4) nursing/medical and/or (5) a related field.

“I feel like it is the duty of every small business to contribute to the community in which they are privileged to serve.  We are, truly, a family practice and I thought there was no better way to give back to the community than to support the children of the community in their future endeavors,” says Dr. Bogan.
“My own journey through college was aided by similar scholarships that I was personally awarded, and I know how much of a help it was to me as I navigated my undergraduate degree.”

“Having the honor to dot the”i” in script Ohio three times was an amazing experience!”

Today Dr. Bogan approaches dentistry with that same level of contagious excitement. At his office he offers the latest in digital dental technology to provide the best dental care for patients. In the community, he volunteers as race director for an annual 5K run/walk to benefit the Free to Smile Foundation in Columbus. On April 22, he and the dental team at North Orange Family Dentistry will host their first Give Kids a Smile Day.

“I think that is the most fulfilling part of being a dentist for me – being able to get to know and help people.”

Dr. Kyle Bogan resides in Delaware, Ohio with his wife Kate and their two children. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Bogan is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Columbus Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Dental Implant Association, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
