Two full days of education will feature more than 300 seminars at the largest dental laboratory event in America – the  33rd annual LMT LAB DAY Chicago.

Among the seminars, two opportunities presented by Dental Wings “Transforming Creativity,” will feature Dr. George D. Pylant III and Dr. Timothy Hart, focused on “The Gateway to New Dental Implant Digital Workflows” and “Surgical Guides – High Precision, Cost-Effective Fabrication with Desktop 3D Printing,” respectively.

Co-sponsored by Straumann and Benco Dental, each session will take place at the Hyatt Regency Chicago Plaza, offer two Continuing Education credits,  and require online registration: dentalwings.com/lectures

Dr. George D. Pylant III

Dr. George D. Pylant III, who  has been serving Mid-Cities, Colleyville, Grapevine and Southlake Texas communities as a periodontist for more than 26 years, will discuss the integration of intraoral scan STL files with CBCT DICOM files into implant planning and prosthetic design software and how it has opened the door to new digital workflows that allow for better restoratively driven implant planning.

Learn how this new digital collaboration between clinician and lab results in significant chair-time savings for both surgical and prosthetic procedures, improved treatment outcomes and better patient experiences.

Dr. Timothy Hart

Dr. Timothy Hart, who currently practices prosthodontics in Shorewood, Wisconsin and lectures nationally regarding CT rendering, CT guided surgery, CAD/CAM design of custom abutments, and 3D printing, will explain digital treatment planning of dental implant therapy and its dramatic evolution.

Using modern milling and printing technologies and CBCT-based planning software, dental labs can now fabricate high-precision surgical guides and immediate provisionals in an all-digital, model-free, pre-surgical workflow.

Understand how this technology will dramatically increase adoption of computer-guided surgery. Gain knowledge on how to effectively and profitably operate at scale in a dental lab. Learn the whole process from scanning, to digital design, to 3D printing, for predictable, high-quality results.
