Sixty pieces of sugar free gum, a pull-out comic that features a variety of games and puzzle, and help in the cavity-prevention efforts – that’s what’s popping at Bazooka Candy Brands.

Bazooka Candy Brands, a division of The Topps Company, Inc., brings innovation to the confectionery space with the introduction of Bazooka Sugar Free Gum.  It is accredited by the American Dental Association and is the winner of the “Most Innovative New Product” in the Gum/Mints category at the 2016 National Confectioners Association Sweet & Snacks Expo.

According to the ADA Council of Scientific Affairs, who earlier this year awarded the ADA Seal to Bazooka Sugar Free Bubble Gum, in both its original and “blue razz” flavors:

“The Council awarded the Seal ‘based on its finding that the physical action of chewing Bazooka Sugar Free Bubble Gum for 20 minutes after eating stimulates saliva flow, which helps to prevent cavities by reducing plaque acids and strengthening teeth.’

To earn the Seal, a company must submit material lists for review and demonstrate that the product meets ADA requirements for product safety and efficacy and ADA-developed dental standards. The product undergoes rigorous investigation, including evaluation of scientific data from clinical and laboratory testing.”

Bazooka is one of 10 sugar free gums that have been awarded the ADA Seal. View the others at: https://www.ada.org/en/publications/ada-news/2016-archive/september/dont-burst-that-bubblehttps://www.ada.org/en/publications/ada-news/2016-archive/september/dont-burst-that-bubble
