Big ideas lead to big ideas.

At least that’s what Benco Dental Events ＆ Travel Coordinator Lindsay Pross envisioned when she incorporated this larger-than-life element, shown above, into the introduction of the company’s annual Equipment Meeting in Southern California.

Three locations = triple the excitement for a meeting of the minds of the nation’s largest privately owned dental distributor. Fairmont Newport Beach, Glidewell Laboratories, and CenterPoint West in Costa Mesa will host Equipment Specialists, OneVisit™ Service Technicians, District Service Managers and Equipment Coordinators, Regional Managers, Directors of Sales, and Benco trainers this week for an August adventure in education.

Highlights:

* Equipment and technology events with opportunities for peer-to-peer learning, hands-on learning and interactive sessions.

* A vendor fair at Benco’s CenterPoint West Showroom in Costa Mesa, including healthcare furnishings by innovator Herman Miller, whose task chairs, and reception pieces will serve as the entry point.

* A visit to Glidewell Laboratories, as well as the home of its President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Glidewell, CDT. Instrumental in developing new equipment and techniques with the objective of holding down dental laboratory expenses, this dental industry groundbreaker also directs the Research and Development department in developing cost-effective dental restorations. (He formally opened Glidewell Laboratories in January 1970 and, by 1981, operated nine dental labs in Southern California.)
