Free oral cancer screenings will be offered by second-year Luzerne County Community College dental hygiene students and faculty April 16 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Francis S. and Mary Gill Carrozza, R.N. Health Sciences Center, 3 E. Main St., Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, according to StandardSpeaker.com

Working in conjunction with the Oral Head and Neck Cancer Alliance, students will conduct preliminary screenings, interview clients and refer patients for followup to their physicians.

A written summary of areas of concern will be given to participants.
