Lumed Science Inc. and Benco Dental will partner in the distribution of a new high tech dental light.

Benco Dental will offer Lumed’s innovative new product LEAP™ (Light Emitting Aspirating Prop) which changes dental lighting by placing light where it is needed most– inside the patient’s mouth.  The high intensity lighting is integrated into a highly engineered silicone bite block that provides patient comfort and great access for the doctor.   LEAP is the world’s first dental light to be entirely sterilized in an autoclave before use.  This prevents cross contamination, which is a major concern with alternative dental lighting systems.

Innovative Denver Med Tech startup, Lumed Science Inc., announced earlier this month that it has partnered with Benco Dental, the largest privately owned, full-service distributor of dental supplies, dental equipment, dental consulting & equipment services in the United States.

LEAP™ is a completely made in the U.S, with all design and development-taking place in the heart of Denver, Colorado. Lumed Science expects to have registration to sell in the European Union in the third quarter of this year and Japan by the first quarter of 2017.
