One week from today, Feb. 28, during the Chicago Dental Society’s Midwinter Meeting a lecture “coDiagnostiX for Daily Use” as presented by Dr. Timothy Hart, shown, an assistant clinical professor at Marquette University School of Dentistry, will highlight LMT Lab Day.

According to lecture sponsors Straumann and Benco Dental, computer guided surgery is finally having a dramatic effect on the field of implant dentistry. Most dentists have viewed this technology as a costly, complex approach suitable only for complicated cases. However, similar to Moore’s law in computing, computer guided and computer assisted surgery has grown more sophisticated, more versatile, easier to use, and significantly lower in cost since the first CT guided template was introduced in 1997.

In addition, CT guided surgery can now be used to facilitate new workflows such as immediate temporization with a digitally designed & milled pre-surgical immediate provisional. This lecture by Dr. Hart will discuss the effective and profitable application of the coDiagnostiX and DWOS Synergy digital workflows in the day-to-day operation of a restorative dental office.
