On NBC, Dr. Desiree Walker makes her second appearance on American Ninja Warrior.

The Lumberton, North Carolina dentist made her national-television debut on American Ninja Warrior, NBC’s extreme-obstacle challenge, which aired in June of 2014. She was invited back to compete in the seventh season (which filmed May 10 and 11 at Universal Studios in Orlando), and Dr. Walker joked in an interview recently with thedailyfloss.com, “I’m seeking revenge on the course.”

The lifelong fitness enthusiast demonstrates that in her audition video, which she shares with loyal Flossers.

Dr. Walker was in the spotlight again this summer to inspire attendees as a guest speaker during the The Lucy Hobbs Project® Annual Celebration Honoring Exemplary Members in the Dental Community. Hosted by Benco Dental on June 4 and 5 in Baltimore, Maryland, the awards, named for Dr. Hobbs, who, in 1866, became the first American female to earn a degree in dentistry, were be presented to eight honorees who help lead the charge for women in dentistry and embody the project goals.

Tune in this month Mondays at 8/7C to find out how the Ninja Dentist fared. Up June 22: the Orlando qualifiers.
