Based on the popularity and success of the DTA Mini-Dental school program in Colorado and to address numerous  requests to offer an additional date and location, the Dental Trade Alliance announces they will offer a Mini-Dental School session at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry, in Baltimore, Maryland on August 10-11, 2015.

“Understanding your consumer is an important part of running a successful business, which is why DTA offers the Mini-Dental School, a two-day intensive program overview of dentistry,” said Jon Landers, DTA Vice President of Industry Development.

“To give participants an appreciation of the training and skills that their customers receive, this two day intensive session covers a range of topics from the history of dentistry, to dental anatomy, the various practice specialties; to insights into the economics of running a dental practice, and the expanding practice choices and alternatives available to graduating dentists. Of course attendees also spend significant time in the Sim lab to experience a variety of the clinical “hands-on” dental exercises that dental students learn during their training.”

He noted that offering this session of DTA Mini-Dental school at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry provides a convenient location for East coast member organizations and their employees.

The University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD), is dedicated to pursuing excellence in education, research, patient care and service.
