“This is so easy, we can sell a thousand of these.”

This optimism from one of  Benco Dental’s Managing Director may have earned hearty laughter from the more than 800 in attendance at the 2015 Benco Sales Forum at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico, but the discussion that followed led to genuine awe and excitement from the crowd.

Footage of Chuck Cohen’s reaction to Solea, an anesthesia-free and blood-free soft and hard tissue laser at the Greater New York Dental Meeting was followed by the introduction of Convergent Dental CEO Mike Cataldo and a discussion of their budding partnership.

Solea, the world’s first computer-aided, CO2 laser system ever to be cleared by the FDA for both hard and soft tissue indications will now be accessible to the more than 35,000 dental professionals served by Benco Dental, the largest privately-owned dental distribution company in the nation.

Benco Dental  presented Convergent Dental’s Solea to its sales force and management team from the stage, and welcomed clinical speaker, Dr. Don Wilson to discuss the new technology.
