Students from UCLA School of Dentistry were in attendance to garner insight from Dr. John Kois at his seminar, “Hit Man vs. Healer,” September 5 in Costa Mesa, California.

The sold-out event, hosted by the nation’s fastest growing dental distribution company, Benco Dental, offered discussion on Implementing a Risk Assessment Strategy from a restorative dentistry expert.

Dr. Kois explained, at Benco Dental’s CenterPoint West facility, that “much of dentists’ clinical decision making remains emotionally-driven and empirical.” Seminar participants learned: the four most important diagnostic categories, how to develop critical risk parameters, and treatment planning strategies that reduce hindrances to proper diagnoses.
