In order to offer these benefits to people everywhere as part of their mission and philosophy, the company frequently donates products – Dr. Sharp’s Fresh Mint with Green Tea Toothpaste, Wild Berry Kids Toothpaste, Fresh Mint Mouthwash, and Green Tea Mint Dental Tape – through international charities such as Friends of The Orphans and Amigos del Nino con Cancer. Most recently, children at Friends of the Orphans NPHI Nicaragua, shown, received a donation.

How did the Dr. Sharp Dentistry® come to be?

Rewind to 2001. As a natural progression of his specialty practice, after conducting extensive research with the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT), Dr. Bruno Sharp, a Miami aesthetic dentist, learned that fluoride in the public water system coupled with its inclusion in the foods and beverages we ingest on a daily basis is commonly linked to a wide range of health problems. Upon such findings, he became determined to develop his own brand, a natural, non-toxic and healthy alternative to fluoride toothpaste.

Dr. Sharp, who brings together decades of clinical experience combined with a family tradition that spans more than 120 years and four generations of dentists, created a line of products in 2005. Since that time, by caring deeply about the environment and its effect on health, Dr. Sharp and his team have dedicated themselves to providing innovative and proven alternatives to fluoride-based products.
