When knee meets tooth in a Mixed Martial Arts bout, it seems like the joint has a leg up. But in the long haul, the opposite proves true.

According to edmontonsun.com, Matt Baker’s knee met his opponent’s mouth and his opponent lost a tooth in the process. But Baker ended up in the hospital for two weeks based on the tiny tooth’s revenge: unbeknownst to Baker, a fragment remained in his leg, resulting in a serious infection.

Is Baker bitter? Nope. But  he says the incident should convince everyone to invest in quality mouth guards.
